Yes, it’s GPL.
The template’s history
I created Cordobo Green Park originally for the german news website DyKy. For four month it was in productive use. After some cigarettes and too much coffee I decided to create a new one. The poor little template (it weighs only 96kB) was jammed between some big backups for another two weeks, until I heard it crying and begging: “Give me my honour back! Clean me up! Shave me! Share me!”
What would you have done? Right. Here it is. Ready for a second life in freedom!
Best regards and happy days in your Green Park,
Cordobo

Hey Cordobo,
vielen Dank f?r deine Hilfe!

I added the widgets plugin, thanks for the tip:) My question now is how I would add my existing Amazon.com associate advert I have. (Sorry for all the questions, I suck at PHP :( ) I looked through the widget directory on WordPress site and didn’t see anything that seemed appropiate, so is there a way for me to add the HTML to one of the sidebars?
Hi Cordobo!
Great worl! I spent a couple of days to adapting it to an idea of mine (I’m a chef… I do this for fun!)
I would like to create a blog that does not look like such, but more of a regular website
I believe I’m nearly there (some more sleppless night) as you can see here http://www.schiavon.co.uk
The reason behind this is the fact of wordpress being easily customizable, rather than to have to modify anything, You simply change theme, add some widgets and you’re good to go… fool proof…
Sorry for taking out your credits, I’m simply cleaning out, I’ll put them somewhere in future with all the credits (again, is an excellent work!)
I’m trying to optimze space
I fixed that overlaping bug, fixed with of the sidebars and with min-max width for the content
Now, I would like to change the comments text style, but cannot find it in style.css and I’m getting crazy, so I decided to turn onto you… pleeaasseeeee!! :P
I’m not sure if it is because I have so many plugins, and they change it
Thanks Again
And hope to meet you for a coffe in Holborn maybe
Regards
Paolo
Never mind, I figured it out:D Your template rocks! Thank you so much!
@ Sean:
You can use a “Text Widget” to add your Amazon ad.
Greetings,
Andreas
@ Paolo:
You are free do remove all that you want from the theme ;) That’s why it is GNU. What did you alter to fix the overlaping bug? Because I still don’t know exactly what is causing this problem and I would like to remove it as soon as possible.
Have a look at the CSS Class “.comments” and “textarea”. There you will find the style for the text/textarea in the comments.
Accepto tu invitaci?n a un cafe! (Ya s? que no es italiano, pero no hablo italiano y por eso te respuesto en espanyol)
Ciao,
Andreas
Did find a widget that seems to break the theme. Since you are still in beta, I thought you would want to know. It’s the theme switcher widget and it came back with:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_theme_switcher() in /home/.hay/seanpaune/seanpaune.com/wp-content/plugins/widgets/themeswitcher.php on line 42
Nothing I am desperate for, but thought you would like to know.
Hi Sean,
I added some features to the theme 0.91 Beta 3:
# Added RSS and Comment RSS Feeds (DONE in Beta 3)
# Added Theme Switcher Support {wp_theme_switcher} (DONE in Beta 3)
Happy switching ;)
Andreas
*laugh* Thanks!
Just had one of my regular commenter’s mention the green text in the comment box and I would like to change that to black. I looked in the stylesheet, but couldn’t find a specific entry for comment text. Yes, I am actually capable of changing this bit on my own if you could tell me where it is:) Thanks!
Hi Cordobo,
What i did, is to change (with GoLive it gets easy) the min-max width of the… let me check… I don’t remember… I’m screwing soo much with this… ;)
Ok, here it is, I fix the size of the side bars (so they won’t resize) and the contect has a minimum size, under wich it will not squeeze for obvious reasons
Now I set the body to a min size as well, wich is the sum of the sidebars and the minimum’s content size (+margins, paddings etc) and there you’re!
The last bite is really milking me crazy is the single_post entries, wich regulate the top menu… now when the menu is too long (or it excede the resized window under my min. body size), I want it to wrap into two lines… but that does not happen… any help? :(
Thanks
I’ll let you know for the coffe, absolutely!
Today the carnival in notthing hill… :P
Thanks

@ Paolo:
you can use
height: auto
in single_post_left and single_post_right with a min. height of 19px (or what fits your needs).

Andreas
