“Freiraum” (Paperwall 2), is an updated version of my current blog theme “Cordobo Paperwall“. The German word “Freiraum” literally translated means “free space”, but the conotation implies also “freedom” and “tolerance”.

Ho ho ho, it’s christmas time!
I will release Cordobo Paperwall, the current theme of Cordobo.com, under the GPL licence this weekend. It’s a custom theme for Scott’s excellent Sandbox theme, enriched with microformats, xfn and all the cool stuff your mama loves!
Why I do this?
Because I can ;) And it’s christmas time!
I’m working on a new theme for this blog and I put this theme up for adoption, trying to find “a second life” for it elsewhere on the net.
Why can’t I download it already.
I’ll release it this weekend, I need to fix up some things before you can easily install this theme on your blog.
Is it free?

Und wieder einmal geht es um mein WordPress Theme Cordobo Green Park, das ich irgendwann einmal für DyKy.net, ein kleines Projekt von mir, gebastelt und welches mir nach einer Woche schon nicht mehr gefallen hatte und dann der Allgemeinheit “geopfert” wurde…
Der Themeviewer listet das Theme mittlerweile auf Platz 7 der meist heruntergeladenen Themes und dadurch ist der Technoratirank dieses Blogs irgendwie in ungeahnte Höhen geklettert, ohne dass ich das wirklich mitbekommen hatte, bis ich (siehe unten rechts) dieses kleine Widget auf einem Blog gesehen und bei mir eingebaut hatte. Irgendwann hatte ich sogar Robert Basic überholt, dessen Blog ein Vielfaches meiner täglichen Leser/Besucher aufweist.
Und nun? Freude? Wieso nicht. Auch wenn die Backlinks nicht explizit gesetzt wurden, wie vielerorts angemahnt wird, und mit Sicherheit auch berechtigt, wurde zumindest das Theme ganz bewußt heruntergeladen und verwendet. Jetzt freue ich mich erst einmal über einen echten Backlink von Mashable und bastle an dem neuen Theme AHYO für WordPress und Serendipity herum.
