This is just a short announcement. The pre-release of Green Park 2 Beta 6 is available for download, the “final” Beta is due in a few days.
The improvements include built-in Twitter support, seamless integration of Disqus comments, 40% fewer http requests, up to 50% faster page rendering compared to Beta 5 and a total of 16 supported languages.
The current Beta 6 is not supported and not recommended for production use. Please check the complete Changelog of Green Park 2 Beta 6 Pre before you get your copy from the local mirror. Don’t forget to leave your feedback in the comments!

I love Green Park 2, and I use it for my blog. When I heard you was makeing it compatible with wp 3, I was vary glad and I was thinking to get you a hint/tip: It will be cool if you put along each custom post, an icon(just like in some tumblr themes), I love that icon, and I will love to have it in my Green Park theme, because this is the greatest theme;)

I just noticed that there’s an update to the Green Park Theme. I currently have version 2 0.9.501 and now version 2 0.9.502 is available but not available to update automatically. My question is that I currently changed the header in the old version, if I update will my header still show or will I have to append the header into the new version once I upgrade?
Not sure where to leave a simple comment, so I’m leaving one here. I’m not sure if this error: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:Hosting5442163htmlwp-adminincludestheme.php on line 16, is a theme problem or what but I have been getting it while trying to update and/or log in to the admin site for several days now.
Any suggestions?

Fantastic theme – I have one question: I have a business directory set up on my site here: http://miltonsearch.com/businessdirectory and I’d like to remove the search field from the menu bar – is there an easy way to do this?
I want to remove it because I’m using a business-directory plugin and I want users to search using that field rather than the menu bar search field which searches only blog/news posts rather than the full directory.
