Cordobo Green Park 2 Beta 6 Download

This is just a short announcement. The pre-release of Green Park 2 Beta 6 is available for download, the “final” Beta is due in a few days.

The improvements include built-in Twitter support, seamless integration of Disqus comments, 40% fewer http requests, up to 50% faster page rendering compared to Beta 5 and a total of 16 supported languages.

The current Beta 6 is not supported and not recommended for production use. Please check the complete Changelog of Green Park 2 Beta 6 Pre before you get your copy from the local mirror. Don’t forget to leave your feedback in the comments!

  1. Hi Andreas,

    I am having some trouble putting a logo in the Green Park theme. The area where the logo goes does not adjust to the size that I am putting in the code. The logo size changes but does not fit (Does the logo have to be a maximum of 19px high).
    Is there a way to fix this?

  2. I edited the the Themes Functions (functions.php) to remove some pages titles from appearing in the top menu.

    In Firefox, the unwanted pages do not appear but they appears in IE and Chrome.

    Which is the correct way to do this? Thanks.

  3. He my name is Jack and I run new-wav.com with my friends. We are using your theme with some modifications to it and we’re really liking it.

    We are using wordpress-mu and would like to improve the header for better navigation to the other blogs on our site. Can you please let us know what we have to do to open up some more space in the header to add links and maybe an image. We have tried just inserting the image and links, but everything gets pushed down and into the index page. I’m fairly familar with CSS and php, but the file is so long its hard to find things at times even if it is well commented.

  4. We’re using Cordobo Green Park 2 as our new theme. Thank You for this nice theme.
    We have a special problem. Our website has multiple users, there are admin & editor roles for different users. The problem is we can not make same comment style for admin and editors. Is there a way that we can make the editors style also have darker background like admin & different from the audiences.

  5. I have a few suggestions I would really like to see in Green Park 2. If they’re added, I’ll start using it and donate to you. 1. Support for WP 3 menus. Why require a plugin when its built into WP? 2. Author info at the bottom of individual posts (like on the 2010 theme), including gravatar. 3. Author’s name at top of post & bottom as in suggestion #2, is a link to author’s archives which has the same author info as suggestion #2 but above all posts by that author (like on 2010 theme).

    I made a huge error while fiddling around with the header. Now all the content went up to the top of the page! I am hoping that you could help me. What did I do wrong?

    Do you think to add a new box on Cordobo Green Park 2 Beta 6, to paste an AdSense Code (336×280) under the title of each Post, on your very good
    box system on Admin Panel?

    I have already used the Ad Manager (box) Google AdSense (Bottom of Post)
    and a Widget text on the Sidebar.

    I am awaiting this your answer, before to use a plugin.

    May I suggest you, to put the search box higher on the Home Page, in this way is possible to add new Pages (on the bar).
