This is just a short announcement. The pre-release of Green Park 2 Beta 6 is available for download, the “final” Beta is due in a few days.
The improvements include built-in Twitter support, seamless integration of Disqus comments, 40% fewer http requests, up to 50% faster page rendering compared to Beta 5 and a total of 16 supported languages.
The current Beta 6 is not supported and not recommended for production use. Please check the complete Changelog of Green Park 2 Beta 6 Pre before you get your copy from the local mirror. Don’t forget to leave your feedback in the comments!

I just updated WordPress and now I’m getting bullets flowing down the page after every post (when viewed alone). I am using Green Park 2 0.9.502. See http://www.ugiansky.com/ then click on any of the post titles for an example of the problem. And thanks for the cool theme!
Solved. The theme upgrade conflicted with the Sexy Bookmarks plug-in and that was causing the problem. I removed then re-installed the plug-in and I’m happily back in business. I really like this theme and I’m glad I don’t need to switch.
The green park 2 theme looks great in Firefox but in IE it doesn’t display the sidebar correctly. You can see this on my website. Is there a fix for this? PS – the only change I made to the themes was the colors of the navigation and button images. I even installed the latest beta 5 version.
Hello – I’m using the GreenPark2 theme. At the bottom of pages I see a line called ‘Advertisement’ where I imagine GoogleAds go, but I’m not using that feature. How do I remove the Advertisement line?
Also if I disabled comments on certain pages, I get a similar line reading ‘Comments Closed’. How can I remove that?

I’m helping a friend work out an issue with the RSS link generated by your theme using the custom permalink: /%category%/%postname%
is missing the slash at the end and is not interpreted by all browsers properly, IE in particular. Could you please fix this is in the next update for the theme, so that is more browser friendly?

Nevermind, the original issue was confused by RSS feed formatting changes and we’ve found an internal fix for the issue.

Hi there, great theme, however on my blog page, the content of my post is at the bottom of the post rather than under the title – must be a simple fix, but I just cant see it. Thanks
It’s because of the google ad you (or a plugin your’re using) inserted into the content area above the text.
Great stuff! But just to let you know that beta6 is now conflicting with “Twitter for WordPress” plugin (http://rick.jinlabs.com/code/twitter/) and crashes wordpress entirely. Error_log shows:

the twitter functionallity of Green Park 2 beta 6 is derived from the code of “twitter for wordpress”, so if you use the theme, twitter support is already included.
I do have a tricky problem…. the widgets links,….. are not in the theme font and colors anymore ?! Any idea to help me please. I’m using the last Theme Update with WordPress 3.0.1.

Hi, I’m looking into your theme… I’m changing it a little bit. My main focuses are on the sidebar (to make it hideable). As soon as I’ll have somethingworking properly, I’ll give you my git address, so you can check it out :).

With this patch is possible to remove the sidebar without messing up anything (from the admin panel you can choose whether to see or not the sidebar ;)
